Elkton, MD – The University of Maryland’s Cecil County Master Gardeners are hosting a Natural Ornament Workshop on Saturday, December 9, 2017. The workshop will run from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Learn how to create ornaments from natural materials such as micanthus seed heads, milkweed pods, sweet gum seedpods, acorns, etc.
Master Gardeners will offer instruction on several different designs; attendees can chose up to three (3) ornaments to make and take. There is a $5 fee, which covers instruction and materials. Bring pruners, if you have them.
The workshop will be held in the Cecil County Administration Building at 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Senior Center Entrance, Elkton, MD 21921. Park in the rear of the building. Look for the Cecil County Master Gardeners sign at the door entrance.
Space is limited, so pre-registration is required.
