In the early part of June 2018, the Elkton Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU) began an investigation into illegal sales of narcotics coming from 133 Hollingsworth Manor, the target of the investigation was a Michael Anthony Hurt Jr.
The investigation revealed Hurt to be distributing narcotics and using this residence to facilitate his distribution activity. As a result of this investigation, officers obtained a search & seizure warrant for 133 Hollingsworth Manor.
During the early afternoon hours on Monday, July 2, 2018, officers with the Elkton Police Department executed the search and seizure warrant on the above address. Upon serving the search & seizure warrant, Hurt was located on scene and placed under arrest.
The search discovered the following:

High Point 9mm Lugar
Springfield Armory XD 40mm
$517.00 in U.S. Currency
Numerous Blue Wax papers w/ Heroin Residue
This arrest is the product of the Elkton Police Department’s continuing high enforcement effort to reduce the drug activity in this area and is a direct product of our zero tolerance enforcement approach. The investigation into the illegal drug trade is ongoing.
