Richard Lee Poole, 67 of North East, MD, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at home
Born in Akron, OH, on April 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Lorin Kenneth and Eleanor Ovitta (Baker) Poole.
He retired from the University of Delaware, where he last worked in the Printing Department.
Mr. Poole was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 131 for many years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and hunter.
He is survived by his loving wife: Donna M. Poole; three children: Daniel, Barbara and Jonathan; one brother: Kenneth Poole; and 8 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Andrew.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow in Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Bethel, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Delmarva Boy Scout Council for Camp Rodney, in care of the funeral home.
Joseph “Joe” E. Wiggins
June the 19th, Joseph “Joe” E. Wiggins went into the healing arms of his Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his beloved family.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years Nancy Wiggins nee Williams and his six children.
The funeral service for Joe was held at Grace Bible Chapel on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at West Nottingham Cemetery.

Rev. Otis Leon Doherty, 82 of Elkton, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Stonewall, MS, on August 22, 1932, he was the son of the late William Herman and the late Ester (Smith) Doherty.
Rev. Doherty retired in 1998 as pastor for Ogletown Baptist Church, Newark, DE after 24 years of service. He then served the church as retired Pastor Emeritus.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, snow and water skiing and piloting small planes.
Survivors include his loving wife: Evelyn Doherty; four sons: David L. Doherty of Elizabeth, CO, Glen L. Doherty of Newark, DE, Bryan L. Doherty of Dallas, TX, Wayne L. Doherty of North East, MD; one sister: Alice White of Quitman, MS; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

James Francis “Frank” Way, Sr., 87 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born April 2, 1928 in Rising Sun, MD, he was the son of the late Clement Dare and Mary E. Williams Way. Frank was raised by the late Norwood and Margaret Williams.
Frank was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church of Colora, MD, and an Active Leader with Troop 92 BSA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during W.W. II. He was a member of the Jerry Skrivanek VFW Post No. 8185 of Port Deposit, MD, and a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194. He was employed by the former Chrysler Corporation of Newark, DE, from 1949 until 1993 as a stockman in their Parts Depot.
Frank is survived by his wife, Gladys Watson Way of Conowingo, MD; sons, James F. Way, Jr. and wife, Laura, of Aberdeen, MD, David M. Way and wife, Lynn, of Graniteville, SC, Mark R. Way and wife, Robin, of Conowingo, MD; daughters, Mary W. Bolt, Dawn M. Leonard and husband, Paul, and Ruthie A. Moretz and husband, Brian, all of Colora, MD; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Hawks of Newark, DE.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dan Bolt; brothers, Harold Way, Donald Way, Allen Way; and sister, Martha Cora Harrison.

Visitation for family and friends was held Thursday, June 11, 2015, 10 at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. David Burke of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Colora, MD.
Matthew Jay Bolte, age 24, of North East, MD, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. Born in Newark, DE, on January 6, 1991, he was the son of Dana Sample Bolte, North East, MD, and the late Monte J. Bolte.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Bolte was an apprentice with S.J. Desmond Electrical, Wilmington, DE. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed skateboarding, all water sports, and baseball. He lived life to the fullest and will always be remembered for his smile.
In addition to his mother and her companion, Jack McIlhatton, survivors include his sister, Ashlyn Bolte and fiancé, Miguel Contreras, Jr., Rising Sun, MD; maternal grandfather, James Sample, Jr. and wife, Marjorie; paternal grandparents, Ralph Bolte, Sr., and Joyce Fair and husband, Andrew; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as additional extended family members.
In addition to his father, Mr. Bolte was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Sample.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in Elkton Cemetery.

James A. (Jimmy) Wright, 49, of Elkton, MD, passed away unexpectedly at his home June 7, 2015.
Born in Wilmington, DE on January 4, 1966, Jimmy was the son of Doris Fuller Wright and the late Donald E. Wright. He worked during his lifetime as a truck driver and also as an auto mechanic. He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his son Nicholas James Wright of North East; two sisters, Jackie Meadows and her husband James of North East, and Gracie Wright of Elkton; a nephew, Thomas Pierce II of Smyrna and three nieces, Stephanie Biggers, Kirsten Reed and Summer Reed, all of Elkton.
A service honoring his life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 2191 on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family via Jackie Meadows.
Patricia Ann Bockhorn, age 61, of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015. Born in Amityville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernadette Shaw Roxburgh.
Mrs. Bockhorn was a bus driver for Cecil County Public Schools for 28 years. Her memberships included Marine Corps League Lance Corporal Copenhaver Chapter Detachment #1098, and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #475, Newark, DE. Devoted to her family, Mrs. Bockhorn enjoyed gardening, camping and crafts. She was able to do any type of project, whether it was woodworking, painting, or putting down tile flooring. She mastered it all.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Bockhorn; children, Anthony Alexander, Atlanta, GA, Robin Alexander, Newark, DE, Christine Baker, Chesapeake City, MD, Dante Bockhorn, Elkton, MD, and Kathleen Bockhorn, Newfield, NJ; sisters, Theresa Dempsey, Rensselaer, NY, and Barbara Facciolo, Elkton, MD; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Teresa Marie Sposato of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the age of 94. She was born in New York, NY on December 31, 1920, daughter of the late Antonio and Antoinette Davalos Fusca, and wife of Anthony Vincent Sposato, who died in 1987.
Mrs. Sposato retired from Century Development and Ceco Utilities with over 40 years of experience. She and her husband developed Manchester Park where she served as both secretary and treasurer of Century Development. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church since 1947 and also belonged to the Parish Leisure Club. Mrs. Sposato was a charter member of the Friends of Villa Aviat, an associate of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, and also held memberships with the Cecil County Public Library, the Elk Creek Preservation Society, and Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. She volunteered in the library at Mount Aviat Academy for 35 years, and also helped in the kitchen. Mrs. Sposato enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and interior decorating.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sposato was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Saunders; sister, Carmella Ferrara; and brothers, Frank, Joseph, and Albert Fusca.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony F. Sposato and wife, Silvana, Belle Fourche, SD, and Charles F. Sposato and wife, Kara, Florida; grandchildren, Michael A. Saunders, Mark W. Saunders and wife, Jennifer, Matthew C. Saunders, Joseph D. Jacob Nicholas Zorn “Jake,” 22, became eternally connected with his favorite place on earth, the river, on May 26, 2015, the 15th anniversary of his father, Craig Zorn’s passing. Jacob leaves a legacy on earth with with his life long love, Michelle Hurd, his mother, Gloria “Meagan” Belmonte, her supportive fiancé John Belew, Jr., his sisters (his girlbs) twins Olivia and Corina Zorn, Brynn Mae Price, her father Mark Price; grandparents Barry and Eve Andrews, Barry’s sons JR and Brian, Nick and Alice Nolan, and Donna Zorn; great grandmother Cecilia Nolan, aunts and uncles Jenna and Scott Buttner, Matt and Sabrina Nolan, Manuel and Cindy Sampedro, and Noel Phelps, in addition to “brothers” Nick Savick and Brandon Thomas.

Walter Kenneth Weaver, 58, of Elkton, MD, died at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Monday, June 1, 2015 after a brief illness.
Born in Baltimore on September 20, 1956, Kenneth was the son of the late Walter Shenk Weaver and Olive Bernice McHenry. Kenneth grew up in White Marsh, MD, and attended Perry Hall High School. He married his loving wife, Valerie on November 16, 1999.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Valerie Lynn Jenkins, three children; Bethany Lynn Ann Duquette and husband, Kevin Michael Duquette, Kerri Lynn Weaver, and Kenneth Christopher Weaver, as well as his daughter-in-law, Brandie Lynn McGlothlin. He also has eleven grandchildren; Dominic Michael Anderson, Zoe Rene Anderson, Mason Zane Runge, Tyler Chase Duquette, Kiley Paige Duquette, Lylian Asacia Brenegan, Lucias Psalm Sanders, and Legend Gabriel Weaver, Victoria Ann Reil, Alexis Skyee Reil, Kaydence Carmen Weaver, sister; Mary Elaine Schultheis of Greensboro, MD and many nieces and nephews.

Anna DeVincentz, age 72, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015. Born in Baltimore, MD, on July 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Rosetta Kuehne Ruth.
Mrs. DeVincentz was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and also enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Julius T. DeVincentz; children, Wayne R. Martin, Cynthia A. Martin, Robin L. DeVincentz, Robert T. DeVincentz and Sherry A. Wines; granddaughters, Ashley A. Wines and Samantha A. Lipinski; great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Athena and Reyes Lipinski; and numerous brothers and sisters.
